Missisipi Mud Pie

This recipe was a closely guarded secret of the Issippi family, passed down the generations, from mother to daughter. Then, one day, Danny pinched it from his teacher (Miss Issippi’s back was turned and he snaffled it out of her desk). Lucky he did, or you’d never get to treat your tastebuds to his monumental, Mississippi (here’s) Mud (in your eye) Pie. As Danny always says, “bon appetit!”
